Tour Wonderful New Year from Mexico City
The day begins with a cozy pause at the hotel: a traditional Mexican breakfast that paves the way for a new day of discoveries. It is that first moment that seals the perfect start for an experience that promises to captivate the senses in every detail.
Mexico awakens among intense aromas. Each dish reflects the essence of a country that celebrates life from the first hour of the day. It is a moment where tradition and energy merge, reminding us that every Mexican morning is imbued with hospitality, flavor, and human warmth.
Perhaps a colonial city full of history and architecture awaits you, a village that preserves its ancestral roots, or a natural landscape where time seems to stand still. Whatever the direction, breakfast sets the perfect starting point for an authentic day.
In Mexico, every sunrise opens the door to new emotions, to the joy of discovery, and to the pleasure of being surprised. With willingness and curiosity, we prepare to live new experiences and let the city envelop you with its aromas, its people, and its inexhaustible spirit of life.
On this day we will take a tour full of history, architecture, and charm. From Mexico City, we will travel to Puebla, a colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then head to Val 'Quirico, a magical corner that combines the atmosphere of a European village with Mexican warmth.
Cathedrals, traditions, and legends in colonial Puebla
At 11:00 AM, we will begin our route from the meeting point towards Puebla, also known as the City of Angels, famous for its Baroque splendor and cultural heritage.
As we travel along the road, the urban landscape will give way to a more tranquil environment, with views of volcanoes, a prelude to a destination that combines the historical with the spiritual.
Once in the city, we will be amazed in front of its imposing Cathedral located in the center of the main square. Its towers rise majestically, being the tallest in Mexico, and its interior holds a solemn atmosphere that invites contemplation of the greatness of sacred art.
Very close to there, we will enter the Chapel of the Rosary, considered one of the most beautiful expressions of New Spanish Baroque and known as the "eighth wonder of the art world." Every golden detail, every relief, and every glimmer of light on its walls narrate artistic mastery.
Once the cultural visit is over, we will have time to enjoy the surroundings, admire the colorful streets, and, if desired, observe the workshops of Puebla talavera that continue to preserve the artisanal techniques of yesteryear.
Val 'Quirico: a little piece of Europe in Mexican lands
After our visit to Puebla, we will begin the journey to Val 'Quirico, a small village inspired by the medieval villas of Tuscany, Italy. Upon arrival, the atmosphere changes completely: the cobblestone streets, stone walls, and hanging lights create a charming ambiance, especially during the Christmas season.
We will also be able to stroll through its illuminated alleys, surrounded by boutiques, art galleries, cafes, and restaurants that invite you to enjoy at a leisurely pace. The festive spirit is felt in its corners: the decorated balconies, choirs singing carols, and the warmth of the people transform this place into a fantasy setting.
As evening falls, the lights begin to shine more brightly, and the atmosphere fills with music and joy. In this special environment, we will enjoy the "Village Elves" Show, a Christmas performance that takes place at 6:30 PM in different locations —Plazuela de los Haces, Plazuela de los Blanca, and the Zócalo— so that everyone has the opportunity to experience the magic without missing any details.
A charming night, full of lights, music, and joy
In Val 'Quirico, the night comes alive with a special charm. The whole village is illuminated with Christmas decorations. It is the perfect time to stroll through its streets again, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and, if desired, contemplate its Venetian carousel, a classic that recalls ancient fairs.
We can relax in one of its terraces or cafes while listening to melodies that accompany the celebration. Val 'Quirico represents the perfect fusion between Mexican tradition and European charm, a space where happiness and good moments connect.
