Explore its walls, towers, and courtyards, and immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere that surrounds it. Every corner of the castle tells a story, from the ancient dungeons to the armory room. After a morning exploring the castle, we will head to Mesón del Tres Portiñas, a place we discovered thanks to a kind local lady. We were having a beer at the end of one of the stages of the Camino de Santiago, and she overheard us asking where we could eat well. She recommended this cozy restaurant, known for its excellent local cuisine and traditional atmosphere.
Here we tried the most delicious octopus we have ever tasted in our lives, according to the unanimous opinion of all pilgrims. The menu includes three types of octopus: Galician style, grilled, and in sauce. Of course, we ordered all three, and each was an unforgettable culinary experience.
