Return to Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport

It's time to go back to Tuxtla Gutierrez airport to catch your return flight home. Remember that you need to be at the airport two hours before for domestic flights and three hours before for international flights.

If you are in San Cristobal de las Casas, you can take a shared bus. You can buy the ticket on the ADO website by searching for Aeropuerto Angel Albino. The bus company is not ADO, it's OCC (although you can buy your ticket on ADO). There is also an ADO office on Andador de Guadalupe, which is one of the main streets in San Cristobal de las Casas, where you can buy your ticket. The approximate cost is 250 pesos.

The approximate cost of a taxi is between 600 and 800 pesos, for me, it's the most recommended option for two or more people.

Summary

Chiapas is one of the most impressive and beautiful states in all of Mexico. I have visited it many times for over 10 years. I also had the luck of living in a house in San Cristóbal de las Casas for a period of time.

All of the visits I have made to Chiapas have been very pleasant experiences. Some trips I specifically made to explore tourist attractions, hotels, and tours to recommend to my acquaintances.

This tour I have designed is for those who want to enjoy Chiapas on their own, without the restrictions of being tied to the schedule of a tour, seeing the most emblematic places at a very affordable price.

It is a trip aimed at families, couples, or friends who want to enjoy a medium to high level of comfort. It is not a trip aimed at backpackers, although it is probably accessible to them as well since Chiapas is very affordable.

In all the trips I design, I usually recommend 4-star category hotels. Occasionally, I recommend some of lower category because they are the only ones available or the best in the area. When I recommend a 5-star hotel or a more expensive one, it is because I believe the hotel is, in addition to accommodation, a destination or tourist attraction itself.

To make this trip, it is recommended to rent a car for your entire stay (not included in the price). If you do not wish to drive, the best way to get around is by using taxis.
