Travel Designer Review:
Antonio Gaudí is one of the most important artistic representatives of Spain in history. He is the father of Catalan modernism. Gaudi is one of the most famous and recognized architects in the world, known for his great creativity and imagination.
Barcelona is filled with Gaudí's buildings, thinking of Barcelona is equivalent to thinking of Gaudí and vice versa. To enjoy the city even more, I advise you to research a bit about the life of Antonio Gaudí beforehand. Undoubtedly, his story is very interesting. He was born into a family of artisans and had a difficult childhood because he was very sickly. Thanks to this, he spent a lot of time observing nature, which is a very significant part of his work.
Knowing about Gaudi's life before your visit to Barcelona will help you enjoy the city much more, as you will be able to appreciate his work much better.

Today we will use the day to visit the two most representative places in Barcelona created by Gaudí: Parque Güel and La Sagrada Familia.
We will start our day at Parque Güel. The visit takes about two hours and the entrance fee (May 2022) is 12 euros. I recommend checking the park's opening hours and trying to arrive early to enjoy it without so many people.
After visiting the park, we will head towards Sagrada Familia. It is a 30-minute walk. On the way to Sagrada Familia, there is a very nice restaurant that I will recommend to all those who have reserved an itinerary for this day of travel.
There are several ways to visit Sagrada Familia and they all have a cost. The official website to buy your ticket or one of the tours to Sagrada Familia is https://sagradafamilia.org
The entrance fee is quite expensive and you have to plan it in advance. Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited and famous cathedrals in the world. Architecturally, it is the most representative building in the world in the modernist style.
Personally, I believe that, although it is the most expensive (40 euros), the view of "Guided Sagrada Familia with Towers" is the one that is worth the most. If you do not want to buy the ticket, you can walk around the cathedral and see it from the outside, many people do this and save the visit.
Finally, after visiting Sagrada Familia, I recommend continuing your day towards Paseig de Gracia. On this street, there are other works by Gaudí such as Casa Batllo, Casa Amatller, and Casa Mila.

The following suggested activities and notes are not included in the reservation of this itinerary. The Travel Designer included them so that you can optionally do them on your own during your trip.
This trip I have designed for two friends starting their journey from Mexico City. I decided to start the adventure in Paris and then take a flight from Paris to Barcelona and then take a fast train from Barcelona to Madrid.
