Travel Designer Review:
When we think about traveling from Barcelona to Madrid, there are usually two options: taking a fast train or going by plane.
As a tourist, I generally recommend the option of taking a fast train because it is more comfortable. Traveling by train is fun and avoids all the hassle of going to the airport, going through security, boarding the plane... etc... etc... Additionally, the train can be taken from the center of Barcelona and arrives at the center of Madrid.
The disadvantage of the train is that it tends to be more expensive, especially if you don't buy the ticket in advance. The train journey also takes longer. Going from Barcelona to Madrid by plane takes about 1 hour, while the train takes about 3 hours. However, the train saves us the time of going to the airport hours in advance and also arriving at a location far from the city center.

This trip I have designed for two friends starting their journey from Mexico City. I decided to start the adventure in Paris and then take a flight from Paris to Barcelona and then take a fast train from Barcelona to Madrid.
